First - we welcomed a new troop member, Madelyn! We are excited to have her in the troop - and she seemed to know many of the girls already, which was great. Welcome Madelyn!
We went upstairs at the library to look at the great Girl Scout Art Show exhibit. Girls were quite pleased to see the troop entry we created at our February meeting. It was also quite fun to see all the great ideas & creations from the other Medway troops!
The girls earned their 3rd petal (light green), focused on being considerate and caring. We had a nice discussion on what it means to share and to be thoughtful, considerate, caring. This attribute was the perfect tie-in to the recent food drive!
A big thanks to all the families that contributed donations for the local food pantry. Our troop alone collected over 100 pieces - exciting!
